The golf courses
Le Château course, with a length of 6,616 metres, is clearly the more demanding of the two and represents a marvellous challenge for the ambitious golfer. In this wonderfully hilly countryside that features lots of wooded areas, Le Château has impressive ratings: greens, bunkers and numerous water obstacles that blend beautifully into the existing woodland. Outstanding holes are 6, 11, 14 – all of them par 5 holes, in some cases over 500 metres in length – plus 10 and 18, which is a par 4 hole.
Le Riou, championship course, is a wonderful, playable course for all levels. As you move through this par 72 course, breathe in the beauty of its stock of native trees. With a length of some 6,005 metres, the two loops of Le Riou are somewhat shorter than "Le Château". With numerous slopes and rises integrated into the course, "Le Riou" has a majestic view of the valley and its mediaeval villages.
